Sixpenny forge has built up it's skills over the years to have the ability to work with all non ferrous metals.
Unique products are hand crafted and finished, using metals such as Stainless Steel, Alluminium, Brass and Copper. Providing you with a look and product that is both individual and unique.
We started making lighting/lanterns of our own design and then produced styles unique to each customer. Now with our experience and skills we can offer much more than just lighting, expanding into more wrought iron work and restoration projects.
Pictured here is a lantern designed and made by Sixpenny Forge. This is made completely of Brass, then finished with an antique beeswax finish. This is a product that can endure all weathers as none of the components can rust, making it not only unique to the customer but a product which will last for generations.

We pride ourselves with the skills and knowledge we have to produce ironwork using traditional methods.
Tradional ironwork is around today because of it's very strong and long lasting technique. A typical commission is estimated to last for generations.
